  • - 10 metres of controlled water e.g. open drain, manhole cover, river, stream or lake

or

  • - if the tank's vent is not visible from its fill point
  • - if the capacity exceeds 2500 litres
  • - if any potential spillage could run over ground into controlled waters

then the tank must be bunded.
