It was being made redundant that led to father and son setting up the business and bringing their varied talents to the table. Dave, with a long experience in sales and marketing in both the automotive and generator industries allied with Gavin Palmer’s I.T. knowledge and engineering background made for the perfect team for the new family venture.
Since its inception as DP Generators the company has gone from strength to strength. The DPG Group, as a whole, incorporates Diesel And Petrol Generators Ltd and Budget Plant Sales LLP. Budget Plant Sales LLP specialises in new and used small plant equipment sales.
D & P Generators Ltd remains the main arm of the business and has continued its strong growth in retailing quality new and used generator equipment. As well as providing numerous power solutions for the camping and leisure fraternity, we have also worked with some large entities such as the NHS and local government authorities.
As is evident from our web site, we deal with major manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Cummins, Pramac and Stephill. We also deal with quality imported generators such as Kipor and Bulldog. We also have a strong export range with Aksa and Caterpillar generators. When you add in our quality used range from us and our partners within the industry, we do cater for all areas of the market.
